Description
In the winter season, snow – which is blown into the lift station – disturbs the ski lift regularly while covering the contacts of the cableways.
To solve this problem, the architect Yves de Preval used Haver & Boecker Wire Weaving Architectural Mesh DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 as façade cladding for the ski lift station. The wire mesh with an open area of ~ 52% prevents the snow from gathering on the contact points of the cableway. At the same time, the stainless-steel wire mesh ensures a natural ventilation of the whole lift station.
